Gornal is a Barcelona Metro line 8 and Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) commuter train station located in Gornal, a neighbourhood of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. It's served by metro line 8, as well by some other FGC lines collectively known as Llobregat-Anoia line and two RENFE lines, in which the station is known as Bellvitge, due to the proximity of this neighbourhood to Bellvitge. It was opened in 1987, when the section of line 8 between Ildefons Cerdà and Sant Josep became integrated into the metro network as underground stations.
